Leaving the Gold Coast and on my way to my next destination – Sydney!

Usually Vodafone doesn’t have the best signal, but I was surprised I could use it sometimes on the plane.

Amazing view from the sky.

I stayed in Metro Central Hotel near central station for two weeks, and was surrounded by Thai and Chinese people. I thought I was back in Bangkok for a second lol. My friend from Sydney had lots of work to do so he couldn’t hang out with me. He left right after he showed me the hotel I was staying in.

I went to a Thai restaurant nearby after checking in. It was nothing special. The rice even cost 75NTD which is ridiculous. In Taiwan it costs $10 or it is free.

I checked on google map and saw that the opera house wasn’t that far; about a half hour walk from my hotel.

While walking through Hyde Park I saw St. Mart’s Cathedral. I walked past a shopping area and a business street filled with many hot guys wearing suits.

Here I arrived at Circular Quay. It feels like Venice, but cleaner.

Here’s Sydney Opera House. There are many bars and restaurant surrounding it.

Me with the opera house.

Silly silly seagulls.

————–second day————-

On the second day, I met a guy from South Africa who was living near northern beach. He was a pretty nice guy. He told me I could take a ferry to go to Manly, and showed me some beaches up there.

I walked half hour to Circular Quay, bought a ticket and went on my ferry trip.

I was using my phone on the boat though so I got seasick….again.

Manly beach and not the best weather, but you can still see people swimming.

Beer and chips on a chill Thursday afternoon at the beach.

We ran into a few friends of his and they live on Wallis, a very small island east of Australia which belongs to France. On the island, people are massive and can drink lots of beer.

DeeWhy- houses are just so pretty here with massive windows and modern design.

This is a jellyfish, not a condom…

Here are the views and me.

The next day was Australia Day, so he invited me to join him and his friends for barbecue and beers.

Barbecue on his balcony.

Then I went to a few bars after at Mnly.

The next day, we went to Manly beach.

On Australian Day, everyone goes to the beach, barbecues and gets wasted lol.

 Preparing another barbecue.

Salmon ~~~ yummm!

Salad, rice (so Asian), and grapes.

Sunset on the northern beach. I had some amazing days here and I’ll tell you more about it all in my next article…
